SUMMARY

My instances in AWS are substantially slower than the source VM. How do I fix it?

ISSUE

Your deployed instance will use an instance type that most closely matches your source VM in number of CPUs and amount of memory.  You can of course choose a different instance type at deploy time. AWS vCPUs and VMWare cores do not necessarily map 1 to 1 and for certain workloads, you may find that Boomerang's automatic suggestion is not a good fit. If you want to use a different instance type in AWS, you can either re-deploy your instance and manually select a higher performance instance type, or you can resize your existing instance via the AWS console.
