SUMMARY

Backup jobs appear stuck after removing cloud storage bucket/container

ISSUE

Problem
After deleting a bucket/container on cloud storage the backup jobs appear stuck in a running state.

Resolution
Perform the following steps to remove the jobs from the presentation appliance:

  1. Reboot the engine VBA on which backups are running.
  2. Remove the configured cloud storage from the Engine VBA.
  3. Create new bucket on cloud storage.
  4. Add the cloud storage on engine VBA using above bucket.
