What is an active FLR (File Level Recovery) - View and Tear Down

This article will discuss how an active FLR is produced.

What is an active FLR?

An Active FLR is a disk image created from a VMware or HyperV (a host) level backup.  Once the disk is stood up, the file system will be available for browsing.

To view or tear down the created disk images available, navigate to:
Settings > System Monitoring > Restore Disk Images
Tear Down is the option you should choose to undue the FLR mount. This restores the resources it is using back to the Unitrends system.
