SUMMARY
Fail.txt (File Recovery)
ISSUE
When performing file recovery using the CIFS option, encountering a text file, fail.txt, on the recovered disk, usually indicates an attempt to browse an unsupported filesystem. You can perform the file recovery again, using the iSCSI option, to attempt to view the disk contents. Note that you may need a third-party tool to browse certain Linux-based file systems when the iSCSI target is mounted to a Windows machine.
